Welcome to Flavors and Scents of Positano. These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase of products made through our website. By placing an order, the user fully accepts the clauses outlined herein.
1. Subject of the Contract
The seller offers for sale artisanal products typical of Positano, including:
Food Sector: Limoncello, candies, and derivatives.
Handcrafted Items: Ceramics, bags.
Wellness and Home: Candles, home fragrances, and personal care products.
2. Prices and Payments
All prices are indicated in Euro (€) and include applicable VAT. Payment must be made at the time of order through the secure channels provided on the site (credit cards or other methods indicated at checkout).
3. Shipping and Delivery
Our shipments are entrusted to the logistics partner Mail Boxes Etc. (MBE) to ensure maximum safety, especially for fragile items such as ceramics and bottles. Costs vary depending on the delivery address.
- Processing Time: Orders are processed within 2–3 business days. Delivery times vary based on destination and customs procedures (for the USA). On average, 7–10 days for Europe, 15–24 days for the USA.
4. Return and Refund Policy
Due to the artisanal and often delicate nature of our products, returns are subject to the following conditions:
- Return Conditions: Returns are accepted only if the product arrives damaged or broken.
- Time Frame: Damage must be reported within 7 calendar days from the date of receipt of the package.
- Claim Procedure:
- In case of damaged goods, the customer must take clear photos of the external packaging and the broken product.
- Contact the relevant Mail Boxes Etc. center (contacts provided on the shipping slip or via email) to open a claim.
- Simultaneously, notify our customer service of the incident.
Returns for “change of mind” are not accepted.
5. Liability
Flavors and Scents of Positano is not responsible for delays caused by couriers or customs blocks. For shipments to the USA, any customs duties or import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.
Our ceramics are hand-painted: small variations in color or design compared to the photos on the site should be considered signs of authenticity and not defects.
6. Prohibition of Purchase by Minors
The purchase of alcoholic products (Limoncello) is reserved exclusively for users who are at least 18 years old (or the legal age in their country of residence). By placing an order, the customer declares that they meet the legal requirements.
7. Applicable Law
For any dispute, the competent court is that provided under Italian law.
